- an excellent researcher and interviewer with a passion for pop music
- someone passionate about, but also critical of, the outdoors industry, from ski lift prices to National Park policies to Native American sovereignty to the best rock climbing sites in the country and the best backpacks on the market.

Residencies & Fellowships
Last Sounds of the Day Residency – On Air Fest, NY
The 2020 On Air Audio Residency calls upon storytellers and artists to propose an audio artwork in response to the prompt: “last sounds of the day.”
The selected Artist-in-Residence will be invited to stay at Wythe Hotel the week of On Air Fest to develop their project and present it during the festival. The work will be distributed on radios in every guest bedroom at Wythe Hotel, and published on the Last Sounds of the Day podcast feed.
Proposed works must respond to the theme, be able to be shared as an .mp3 file and not exceed 30 minutes in length. To fully utilize the residency opportunity, applicants are encouraged to propose new works, or fresh explorations of an existing project.
– Showcase installation or performance at On Air Fest (March 5-8, 2020 in NY)
– 5-night stay at Wythe Hotel to create work
– $500 stipend
– Work crit with an industry

Talent Residency Program – Buzzfeed Los Angeles (Hollywood)
This entry-level opportunity is perfect for someone looking to kickstart a career in the entertainment, media, acting, comedy, digital creator or influencer space as an on-camera talent driving personal and BuzzFeed social growth.
As a BuzzFeed Resident, you’ll work with innovators in the talent space and forge your own relationships with YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snap and Twitch audiences! The Residency is an entry-level, part-time, 3-9 month-long program, approximately 3 days/20 hours per week, launching in March 2020 on our Hollywood campus.
Our screening process opens now, and selected candidates will be asked to digitally interview in January, followed by a face to face interview, and finally, IRL interviews and a screen test on our Hollywood campus. Deadline: Friday, January 10, 2020.
Social Strategy Fellowship – (Publishing) Buzzfeed LA/ NY
BuzzFeed is seeking Social Media Fellows to join its team in New York and Los Angeles in February/March 2020. Fellows will primarily provide publishing and editorial support for the BuzzFeed social media team.
This Fellowship is part of a year-long program w/ a 40-hour work week. Pay is $18/hour.
